What is MailExplorer? MailExplorer is an extension for Mozilla Thunderbird which tries to provide a graphical way to filter your messages.
Is MailExplorer a mature piece of software? No - definitively not - but it tries to get one (maybe with your help?).
What do I need to run MailExplorer? Mozilla Thunderbird and a Java Runtime on the system path.
Which operating systems are supported? MailExplorer is implemented in Javascript an Java and should therefore run on every platform where Thunderbird and a Java Runtime is available (there exists some graphical glitches on Mac OSX and Linux).
I've problems running MailExplorer! Please post your problems in the bugtracker or in the help forum at the Sourceforge site (main site).
I want to participate in the development Fine, please contact one of the project admins.
Where to get MailExplorer? For now, it's listed on the extension site at mozilla.com as experimental, so you need an account there to get MailExplorer. The xpi file itself is also available at this link. Install it by dropping it on the addon manager.
